司康(scones)

司康的吃法:
可以搽上奶油或水果酱一起品尝。
这个食谱已经做过两次了,
都感到很满意。

 食谱(recipes):
    
   4 cups   Plain flour
   2 tbsp   Baking powder
   1 tbsp   Baking soda
   2 tsp     Salt
   12 tbsp Cold .Butter
   2 cups   Buttermilk OR 1 3/4 cup Milk and 1/4 cup lemon juice or white vinegar
   1           Egg (beaten) for blush

  Method :
    
   1.  Prepare oven in 200C
   2.  Plain flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a bowl.
   3.  Add  the cold butter in the bowl. With clean hands crumble the mixture into a
        a fine bread crumb texture.
   4.  After add the buttermilk and stir it to mix until sticky dough.
   5.  Put the dough to the table (surface flour on the table)
   6.  Knead into the dough that can be handle.
   7.  Roll out to about 3/4 thick and cut it.
   8.  Place on greased pan and blush with the beaten egg.
   9.  Bake : 200c/15 minutes
